Harley-Quinn needs a home

Harley-Quinn is a 2-year-old spayed tan and white blend of Chinese Shar-Pei, terrier and American pit bull.

Calling all bully lovers, I am Harley-Quinn,

I am currently lucky enough to be residing in a lovely foster home. During the day I hang out in the business office at the Allen County SPCA.

I was brought in by a lady who said I was abandoned on her property. Who could do that to me? I am an awesome girl! I was heartworm positive when I came into the shelter but I did have my treatment and have recovered extremely well.

Although I have heard people say I am not the prettiest dog they have ever seen, I hear them secretly whisper that I have an awesome personality! I do extremely well on my housebreaking and have not had an accident in my foster home! I also have free roam of the home while my foster mom is out and also at night time. This is great for me because during the night I try to snuggle my way into her bed! Sometimes I get kicked out because I am quite the bed hog and can make a lot of noise with my snoring!

I will require daily exercise, I am used to my foster mom taking me on four mile walks every day, and boy does that wear me out! I also love Kongs with peanut butter and a game of ball. I am a smart girl who knows how to sit and walk nicely on a leash. I would love for you to spend some time teaching me some more cool tricks so we can show off to our friends.

I do very well with children and even play very friendly with them. I get along well with most other dogs. I currently have a small fluffy little Maltese buddy in my foster home who is my best friend.

There is one thing I will not tolerate in my home and that is a cat! I get very fixated on those little creatures. Just because I don’t care for cats doesn’t make me a bad dog; I just need a feline-free home, please.

If you are interested in spending some time with me to make sure I am the right dog for you and lifestyle please come to the Allen County SPCA Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to visit me, I will be patiently waiting!

I am looking forward to meeting you and playing a game of ball!

Love,

Harley-Quinn
