Ruoff Home Mortgage issued this news release today:

FORT WAYNE, IN (May 20, 2013) – Fort Wayne-based residential mortgage lender Ruoff Home Mortgage announced the addition of Nick Boucher to their company, who will conduct business from its southwest Fort Wayne office, located at 6920 Pointe Inverness Way in Suite 110.

Boucher was hired as a senior loan officer and will be originating loans and working closely with realtors and home buyers throughout the process.

He was previously a professional hockey player for 10 years, the last six of those with the Fort Wayne Komets as a goaltender. He was selected as MVP by his teammates for the 2009 and 2012 seasons and earned a reputation as the best pressure goalie in franchise history.

“I plan to utilize all of the contacts, connections and relationships I have been fortunate enough to cultivate as a proud member of the Komet Hockey Team over the past six years,” Boucher noted. “The Fort Wayne community has been very good to me, which has played a big part in my decision to call Fort Wayne home. It just feels right to start my professional business career here in this great city.”

Boucher grew up in Duncan, BC CANADA and attended Dartmouth College, where he majored in psychology/brain sciences. He enjoys coaching youth hockey here in Fort Wayne.
