•The Indiana Heart Gallery, an exhibit featuring portraits of children in need of adoption, will be at the Jorgensen Family YMCA, 10313 Aboite Center Road, from Monday to June 10.

•The Forgotten Children Worldwide will host an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. today at its headquarters, 650 N. Main St. in Bluffton.


•The Fort Wayne Rotary Club awarded the following people a community service award for their community efforts: Dorothy “Dottie” Carpenter, Anthony Stites and John Stafford.

John Langmaid IV, a member of Boy Scout Troop 3085, was awarded an Eagle Scout rank for his work in building an ADA-compliant sidewalk at Whitko High School. He also attended the 2013 National Jamboree as the Order of the Arrow representative for the Anthony Wayne Area Council.

Jeff Moore and Kelly Neace, linemen with Kosciusko County REMC, received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for volunteer time spent in Guatemala, bringing electricity to 175 remote homes, businesses and churches. A documentary, “Power to the People,” was created about the volunteers’ work.
