•“Budget Scrapbooking” will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Monroeville Branch, 115 Main St., Monroeville. Attendees are asked to bring their own scissors and adhesive.

•“Sit and Stitch” will be offered for those wanting to learn to knit at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Pontiac Branch, 2215 S. Hanna St.

•“Yarn Lover’s Gathering” will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Woodburn Branch 4701 Indiana 101 N., Woodburn.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: Main Street Van Wert is looking for artists to participant in ArtRageous, a juried art festival being held June 7 and 8 at Fountain Park, Van Wert, Ohio. Exhibitor cost is $40 per artist if paid by May 24 or $50 afterward. Information and registration forms are available at

DEADLINE APPROACHING: Entry forms and fees for the Hoosier Salon 89th annual exhibition are due by Saturday. Works are to be submitted by June 21. Entry forms are available at

SEMIFINALS TAPING: Winners of the “Wish Upon A Song” auditions have been chosen to participate in the semifinals and finals Saturday at 3 p.m. for children and 8 p.m. for adults at Bearcreek Farms, Bryant. Tickets are $20 for each taping or $15 for both.
