Versyp named to New England Basketball Hall of Fame

Purdue women's basketball coach Sharon Versyp will be inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame on June 22 for her time at Maine.

Versyp coached at Maine from 2001 to 2005, and put together a 98-51 record, three conference championships and a conference tournament title.

The Purdue alum is also a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, into which she was inducted in 2010.
