A Wabash County man was arrested in Steuben County Tuesday after barricading himself in a house south of Fremont, police said.

Wabash County officials told Steuben County they believed Kenneth Eltzroth, 44, of Wabash, was hiding in a house south of Fremont. He was wanted in Wabash County on several drug-related charges and for failing to appear for a jury trial.

When officers went to the home to arrest him, Eltzroth shut all doors and barricaded himself in the home, refusing to speak to officers, police said.
