Purse search yields heroin, drug arrest

A Fort Wayne woman faces drug charges after police found drugs and paraphernalia in her purse last week, court records said.

Rhonda S. Hull, 36, was arrested May 3 after officers searched her purse for weapons and instead found a multicolored pipe and small bags with various portions of pills and heroin, according to court documents.

Police were called about “a female down in a car,” court records said.

Hull, of the 1000 block of Manck Road, was charged with felony dealing a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

She was being held at the Allen County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
