Infants inside home raided in cocaine arrests

FORT WAYNE – A house on the city’s southeast side was searched Friday morning, and two men were arrested on drug-related charges.

Police said that two infants were inside the house in the 1100 block of Colerick Street and that the Department of Child services was called in to investigate.

Timothy Arnes Bennett, 23, of the residence, was charged with three counts of dealing cocaine; and a man identified as Maurice Brice, 22, was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, according to a written statement issued by the Vice & Narcotics Division of the Fort Wayne Police Department.
