Suspect accused of selling heroin, cocaine near school

FORT WAYNE – A Fort Wayne man faces multiple drug-related charges, accused of selling drugs out of a house near South Side High School.

Cyril Daniels, 33, of the 3200 block of Clinton Court, was charged with dealing cocaine and heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana and cocaine; and maintaining a common nuisance, according to a written statement issued by the Vice & Narcotics Division of the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Police searched the house Daniels rents just north of the school about 9 a.m. Friday, the police said, reporting that cocaine, pot and scales were found inside the residence.

A 32-year-old woman in the home was arrested on a misdemeanor marijuana charge, the police said.

Two children were also in the house at the time of the search, but no further information was immediately available about their status.
