AT THE LIBRARY:

LONGROY FEATURED: Fort Wayne resident Allan Longroy will be featured in the summer 2013 issue of Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts magazine. The issue will be available on newsstands through July 15.

PRINTMAKING CRITIQUE: Artlink, 300 E. Main St., will offer a free “Peer-to-Peer Printmaking Critique” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Attendees may bring one or two examples of original hand-pulled prints to critique. For information, call 424-7195.

SHOWCASE PREMIERE: Huntington University’s film and animation seniors will premiere their work at the DMA Film Showcase and DMA Animations Showcase at Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts in Huntington. The film showcase will be at 7 p.m. today, and the animation showcase will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The event is free.

VAZQUEZ SELECTED: Teresa Vazquez, an assistant professor at Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast, has been named to the statewide eight-member panel of the Indiana Authors Award. Panelists will select the top three publicly nominated Indiana authors for 2013.
