Woman held in $100,000 theft

A Kendallville woman accused of stealing more than $100,000 from her employer faces theft and forgery charges.

Christina C. Zimmerman, 41, was arrested Tuesday at her home in the 8000 block of Angling Road.

She was being held in the Noble County Jail.

Zimmerman was employed by a Noble County company and forged checks from her employer’s account to cover her personal expenses, Noble County Prosecutor Steven Clouse said.

The transactions took place between April 1, 2005, and Dec. 1, 2011, the prosecutor said.
