Parade magazine is included in Sunday print editions of The Journal Gazette. Here is the cover story of this week’s Parade:
When author Sarah Smiley’s husband deployed overseas for a yearlong tour, an entire community stepped in to fill his empty seat at the table, including neighbors, a police chief and a U.S. senator. The nationally syndicated columnist and her young sons share with Parade what they have learned from their weekly dinner guests.
(The publisher of Parade sent a notice to The Journal Gazette saying that a portion of the story is duplicated in a jump column. Sorry, ahead of time, about the repetition.)
Also featured in this Sunday’s edition of Parade:
- Talk show Wendy Williams talks about her wigs, finding her groove, and the one question she won’t ask.
- Easy Mother’s Day recipes, including summery scones and a special brunch cocktail.
