IndyCar driver Takuma Sato, of Japan, makes a pitstop during the IndyCar Sao Paulo 300 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday.

And a little more racing ...

And now, because the Blob is and always will be an IndyCar zone ... bear with me a moment while I recognize something fairly significant:

With his second-place finish in Brazil over the weekend, Takuma Sato leads the IndyCar points chase headed to Indianapolis. He drives for A.J. Foyt. The last time a Foyt-owned car led the points was 1998, when Kenny Brack won the IRL points title.

The next year, he won the 500.

Something to keep in mind for Indy, where Sato nearly won a year ago, crashing on the last lap while trying to take the lead from winner Dario Franchitti.
