The community prayer event, Prayers for the City – A Celebration of One Community, Many Faiths, will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Performing Arts Center of the University of Saint Francis, 431 W. Berry St. The event is free and features prayers, singing, dances and readings from religious traditions representing Baha’i, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, Sikhism and Unitarian Universalism. Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item that will be donated to Community Harvest Food Bank.
