Man drives to hospital after shot in head

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Police in Toledo say a man who was shot in the head was able to drive himself to the hospital.

The Blade newspaper reports the man was shot Thursday afternoon at an intersection in central Toledo, and drove himself to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

His name hasn't been released.

People in the area said they heard four or five gunshots, and police said they found several shell casings at the scene. Nobody has been arrested.
