DOLORESCO AWARDED: Fred Doloresco of Fremont was recently awarded first prize, Cecil F. Head Fund Awards, from the Indiana Artists Club as part of its 81st annual exhibition.

FITCH RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP: University of Saint Francis music technology student Emily Fitch was one of seven students awarded a $1,400 scholarship from Women in Toys, Entertaining and Licensing, a trade organization.

FORESTRY VIDEO: “Forests at Work,” a video collaboration of the DNR Division of Forestry and WFYI Public Television, has received a first-place Best in Indiana Award for environmental reporting for 2012.

FUNDRAISER: A weekend scrapbooking crop will be from 6 p.m. to midnight May 10, 9 a.m. to midnight May 11 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 12 at the Wassenberg Art Center in Van Wert, Ohio. Cost is $50 for the entire weekend. For information or to register, call 419-238-1062.
