TinCaps game rained out

Fort Wayne (16-10) will have to wait another day to try and set a season record for wins on the road.

The TinCaps' game against the Burlington Bees (9-14) was rained out Friday. The game will not be made up because the Bees and TinCaps do not have another series scheduled for the 2013 season.

Fort Wayne has won three games straight on the road, matching the away winning streak it put together to start the season.

The TinCaps will take that record into Peoria, Ill., today and face off against the Peoria Chiefs (11-12) at 7:30 p.m. Because of the rainout, Fort Wayne has yet to announce a starter for the contest.
