Dutchman breeches are now in bloom.

Take a hike and smell the wildflowers

The recent warm weather has set off a burst of color in the woods. A hike through a friend's woods the other day showed trout lily, toadshade trillium, spring beauty, Jacob's ladder, dutchman breeches, blood root, toothwort and spring beauties in bloom. They are perennials so now is the only time you are going to see them in bloom this year.
