Warsaw guard to walk on at IPFW

Warsaw boys basketball coach Doug Ogle confirmed senior Jared Bloom will be a preferred walk-on for the IPFW men’s basketball program.

Ogle said Bloom spoke with Mastodons coach Tony Jasick on Wednesday.

“It will be a challenge for him being a walk-on, but I am confident he can do it,” Ogle said.

Bloom, a 6-foot guard, averaged 18 points last season for the Tigers.

He was named to the Associated Press All-State honorable mention team and participated in the Hoosier Basketball Top 60 workout.
