Notre Dame Club of Fort Wayne sets date for event

The Notre Dame Club of Fort Wayne will hold its annual golf outing and silent auction on May 21 at Cherry Hill Golf Club.

Irish defensive line coach Mike Elston will be the featured speaker during the dinner that follows the Florida Scramble golf event.

Auction items will include football tickets and memorabilia. To play in the golf scramble and attend the dinner the cost is $100 per person or $75 for Notre Dame or Saint Mary's students or graduates of the last five years. Dinner only tickets cost $25 or $10 for those 18 or younger.

Proceeds from the event go to area Notre Dame students in the form of scholarships and support for Summer Service Projects

The event begins at noon with the golf check-in and the Florida Scramble golf event starts at 1 p.m. The dinner and auction is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
