In a clash between two teams with one loss between them, it was Erin Rethlake and Huntington North who carried the day against Mikeila Boroff and Lakewood Park Christian.
Rethlake spun a four-hitter and the Vikings broke up a scoreless pitchers duel with three runs in the top of the 11th Monday for the 3-0 win.
It was Lakewood Park’s first loss of the season; both teams are 10-1.
EAST NOBLE 4, WEST NOBLE 0: Ryan McLaughlin pitched a four-hit shutout to lead the Knights at West Noble.
SNIDER 9, BISHOP LUERS 8: The Panthers scored six runs in the fourth to carry the day against the Knights at Luers.
BISHOP DWENGER 8, CANTERBURY 7: A three-run rally in the seventh gave the Saints the come-from-behind victory over the Cavaliers.
It ended a back-and-forth battle in which Canterbury jumped to a 3-0 lead after an inning, Dwenger scored three in its half of the fifth to take a 5-3 lead, and Canterbury came back with three in the fifth and another in the sixth.
CONCORDIA 3, SOUTH SIDE 2: Lauren Krull at No. 3 singles saved the day for the Cadets, winning 7-5 in the third set to decide the match.
BISHOP LUERS 4, NORTHROP 1: Sabrina Ngo beat Natalie Rahrig 7-6 in the third in No. 1 singles, but that was Northrop’s only win as Maddie Brown, Kelly Dwire and both Luers doubles teams won in straight sets.
LEO 3, ADAMS CENTRAL 2: Jessica Ripley and Lydia Johnson won three-setters to lift the Lions.
