State police subpost opens in Bryan area

The Defiance post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol opened a subpost Monday just outside the city of Bryan, the agency said.

The subpost will be in the Bryan drivers exam station at 13065 County Road D-50, just east of Ohio 34, in Williams County.The subpost will not be staffed, but it will give troopers an office in Williams County where they can meet with people to complete crash reports, do vehicle inspections and investigate complaints, the patrol said.

The Defiance post is responsible for patrolling Defiance and Williams counties.
