Columbia City mayor invites chats

Columbia City Mayor Ryan Daniel will host mayor nights throughout the summer to meet with residents and discuss their concerns. They begin Thursday, with additional dates on June 6, July 11 and Aug. 1.

Ten-minute slots will be available during a two-hour period between 6 and 8 p.m. Residents must schedule a time with Daniel’s assistant, Martha Acres, before the meetings.

“Residents can come in to discuss issues, make suggestions or just to have a chat,” Daniel said. “It’s merely another opportunity to make myself accessible for our residents.”
