Indiana boys set record in Border Wars win

The Indiana boys team set a record in winning its fourth straight against Ohio 125-108 Saturday in the Nancy Rehm/Border Wars Classic at Saint Francis.

The previous record was 122 points, set by the 1995 Indiana team.

Northrop senior twins Bryson (22 points) and Brenton Scott (19 points) were named the co-MVPs for Indiana.

Dwight Richards had 21, Drew Benedict 15, Nick Gamble 13 and Daniel Woll 10 for Indiana.

For Ohio, Alex Greve led seven players in double figures with 20 points.

Note: Ohio's Mark Donnal won the slam dunk contest, while the three-point winners went to Benedict (boys) and Ohio's Miranda Palmer (girls).
