TinCaps headed to extra innings

A four-run ninth by Fort Wayne has sent them into extra innings against Kane County.

The TinCaps loaded the bases in the ninth with no outs and, unlike most of the game tonight, were able to capitalize. A couple mistakes on the basepaths ended the inning early, but Fort Wayne got what it needed to extend the game.

Roman Madrid, the closer, will take the mount in the 10th for Fort Wayne. The Cougars' staff is reeling a bit and will have to find an extra arm for the coming frame.
