Fire damages Hanna house

Fire heavily damaged a one-story home Wednesday on Hanna Street.

Fort Wayne firefighters were called to the house at 3518 S. Hanna St. at 4:54 p.m.

One person was inside at the time of the fire but was outside when firefighters arrived, the fire department said.

The fire was in the living room and kitchen/utility area and took firefighters about 12 minutes to extinguish, officials said.

No one was injured. The house had heavy fire damage and moderate smoke and water damage.
