TinCaps hold steady, keep lead

After a big third inning, Fort Wayne's bats have quieted down. Kane County's have done the same.

The 6-1 margin from the end of the third remains after three scoreless frames from the TinCaps and Cougars. Fort Wayne starter Joe Ross exited the game after 5 2/3 innings, with one run on six hits to his name. He is the pitcher of record for the game thus far.

Both teams have registered three hits total since the start of the fourth after reeling in 11 between them in the first three.
