Volleyball season ends

The IPFW men's volleyball season ended Saturday with a 3-0 loss to Ball State in the first round of the MIVA tournament at Worthen Arena in Muncie.

The Mastodons (13-13) lost 25-21, 25-17 and 25-20. It was the second time in three matches this season that Ball State (21-5) defeated IPFW.

Senior Rob Samp led IPFW's offense with nine kills, and freshman Andy Sellan had eight.
