Dane Phillips is a double away from the cycle and has three RBI to his name. His efforts helped the TinCaps turn a four-run deficit into a 7-5 lead entering the seventh inning.

Phillips had a home run in the third and a two-run triple in the fifth to tie the game. Lansing reliever Griffin Murphy, who had a 0.00 ERA entering the day through 6 1/3 innings, gave up two runs in the fifth to let the TinCaps back in it.
