Former IU coach named to MAC Hall of Fame

Former Indiana football coach Bill Mallory, the winningest coach in the program's history, was named to the Mid-American Conference Hall of Fame today.

Mallory served as both a player and coach for the RedHawks and was the coach of the Hoosiers for 13 seasons from 1984-96. He finished his coaching career with a 166-120-4 record in 27 seasons. His son, Doug Mallory, is the current assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for the Hoosiers.

The MAC induction ceremony will take place May 30.
