Practices next week for Border Wars players

Now that the Indiana teams are selected for the 21st annual Nancy Rehm/Border Wars Classic, the coaches will get down to the business at hand preparing with practices next week Tuesday and Thursday at Saint Francis.

The boys will practice at 5 p.m. both days, while the girls will practice at 7 p.m.

"We will let them know and let them understand we have some other good players out there; guys who are going to be able to do good things, and it is about the whole team," boys coach Randy Hawkins said, also the head coach at Norwell. "They have to come together for this one game and play hard, that's what it is all about."

Indiana will battle against the Ohio All-Stars on April 27 at Saint Francis. The girls tip off at 2 p.m., with the boys to follow at 4:15 p.m.

The 12-player boys and girls teams will be announced Friday morning in The Journal Gazette or at www.journalgazette.net.
