Storage building gutted by blaze

Fire heavily damaged a storage building in the rear of a business on Fort Wayne’s northwest side Wednesday.

City firefighters were called to Markey Staging and Rental, 1811 Production Road, at 8:35 p.m. It took them nearly an hour to bring the blaze under control.

Crews found heavy flames in the building. It also had heavy water and smoke damage. There were no injuries.
