Grain futures mixed, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 12 cents to $6.9675 a bushel; May corn rose 4.75 cents to $6.49 a bushel; May oats rose 1.75 cent to $3.6925 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 2.75 cents to $13.9275 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 1.7 cent to $1.20 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 2.43 cents to $1.4232 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.35 cent to 89.5 cents a pound.
