Fire guts storage building

Fire heavily damaged a storage building in the rear of a business on Fort Wayne's northwest side Wednesday night.

City firefighters were called to Markey Staging and Rental, 1811 Production Road, at 8:35 p.m. It took them nearly an hour to bring the blaze under control, the fire department said.

Crews found heavy flames in the storage building. It also had heavy water and smoke damage.

There were no injuries.
