Update set on regional development efforts

FORT WAYNE – A joint announcement has been scheduled for Tuesday afternoon on efforts to create a new economic development organization for the Fort Wayne area.

The city announced Tuesday morning that officials from Parkview Health, Fort Wayne-Allen County Economic Development Alliance, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Improvement District, Allen County and the city will join community and business leaders in giving an update on work to restructure how the greater community positions itself for economic development.

The announcement is at 3:30 p.m. at Grand Wayne Center, 120 W. Jefferson Blvd.
