Smotherman, Scott make Indiana All-Star roster

Purdue recruits Basil Smotherman and Bryson Scott both made the Indiana All-Star rosters, which were announced today.

Smotherman, a senior at Lawrence North, and Scott, of Northrop, will represent the Boilermakers on a roster heavy with talent that plans to stay in-state. Ten of the 13 players on the roster will remain in Indiana during their college careers.

Smotherman, a 6-foot-7 forward, averaged 16 points, six assists and eight rebounds in his final season, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Scott, a 6-foot-2 guard who is a consensus top-100 player in his class, averaged 23.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals this season while becoming the top scorer in his school's history.
