Irish basketball recruits get All-Star nod

Notre Dame recruits V.J. Beachem and Demetrius Jackson landed spots on the Indiana All-Star team, which was announced today.

Beachem, a forward from New Haven, and Jackson, a guard from Mishawaka Marian, are on a 13-man team that has 10 players staying in state for their college careers.

Beachem, a 6-foot-7 senior, averaged 22.3 points this season and is rated the No. 15 small forward in the country and a four-star prospect by Rivals.com.

Jackson, a 6-1 senior, averagec 27 points this season and is rated the No. 6 point guard in the country and a four-star prospect by Rivals.com.
