Eyeing IU

  • Indiana State...then an off week
Indiana’s 2014 season is just mere hours away from kicking off.
  • Hoosiers announce remainder of sked
Indiana formally announced the rest of its schedule today, with the season opener on Nov. 14 against Mississippi Valley State. There is only one exhibition game: Indianapolis visits Assembly Hall for a glorified scrimmage on Nov.
  • Hoosier offense belongs to Sudfeld
BLOOMINGTON – The shared journey is over. Indiana’s quarterback role belongs to one man, Nate Sudfeld.

Zeller, Oladipo decide future this week

Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller will answer the question on every Indiana fan's mind this week.

Oladipo and Zeller, per various reports including our own, will meet with their respective camps and decide whether to enter the NBA Draft or stay in Bloomington for the upcoming season. By most estimations, both players would be lottery picks in a relatively weak draft class and would be well served by going pro.

Oladipo, who exploded onto the national scene after vast improvement in the past two seasons, went from an unheralded defensive stopper to Player of the Year candidate this season. A first-team All-America selection, the 6-foot-4 guard is projected as the No. 5 pick in the draft by, just ahead of Zeller at No. 6.

Zeller, some have said, would benefit greatly from another year in Bloomington. However, his stock as a skilled big man, despite questions about his physicality, give him some upside at the next level.

We will speak with Draft Express point man Jonathan Givony tomorrow for his thoughts on the duo, as well as the class in general and scenarios should Oladipo, Zeller or both return. Stay tuned.
