  • Szydlowski returns to Komets
Right wing Shawn Szydlowski has agreed to terms and will return to the Komets in 2014-15, the club announced today.
  • A goalie guess; look at lines
Roman Will would seem to be the most likely fit to wind up in the ECHL as a goalie, but he's spent the last two seasons in the Czech Republic after an impressive junior career in Moncton. If I had to guess, it would be him.
  • K's sign 2 forwards
The Komets finalized the signing of forward Thomas Frazee, who had 24 goals and 47 points in 60 games last season for Quad City of the CHL, and also announced that they have added forward Brett Beebe to the roster.

The fights of the season

I'm sure you are having some withdrawal from Komets hockey, so I put together this video. It is a reel of fights from the Komets' recently ended season, and there are lots of them.

Enjoy.

Also, I came across this -- a compilation of best fights of the decade -- and it includes a native of Fort Wayne (Dale Purinton) and a former Komets player (Jon Mirasty).

By the way, the Lutheran Health SportsCenter is accepting registrations for its spring/summer season. They are having Sunday B, C & D level; Monday 30-and-over; Tuesday B/C; and Friday 30-and-over.
