Ellen DeGeneres is going fishing again with a sequel to the animated blockbuster Finding Nemo.
Disney and its Pixar Animation unit announced Tuesday that DeGeneres will reprise her Nemo voice role for Finding Dory. The sequel is due Nov. 25, 2015, and will be directed by Andrew Stanton, who also made Finding Nemo.
The new film picks up about a year after the action of Finding Nemo, with DeGeneres forgetful fish Dory on her own adventure to reunite with loved ones.
Honor for writers
Elton John and his longtime songwriting partner, Bernie Taupin, will be honored at this years Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
John and Taupin will receive the Johnny Mercer Award during the June 13 ceremony in New York.
John and Taupin have teamed on some of rock n rolls most well-known songs, including Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock, Daniel and Candle in the Wind.
Medal for Sondheim
Stephen Sondheim has won one of the top honors in the arts world, the Edward MacDowell Medal for lifetime achievement.
The MacDowell Colony, the New Hampshire artist residency program, announced Sunday that Sondheim has received an award that has been given to Robert Frost and Georgia OKeeffe among others.
He will accept the medal at an August ceremony.
