Snow removal service loses BBB accreditation

FORT WAYNE – A local snow removal service is no longer accredited with the Better Business Bureau of Northern Indiana, an official said Wednesday.

Mike Coil, BBB president, said Fort Wayne Snow Removal LLC dealt with upset customers from December through March. Most of the grievances stemmed from customers being charged for services not performed and a slow disbursement of refunds. As a result, the “A” ranking the business had has been downgraded to a “C.”

“You have to have at least a “B” to be accredited, so later this month the BBB will not be renewing the accreditation,” Coil said.
