Man, 33, accused of sex with 14-year-old


The grandfather of a 14-year-old girl called police Monday after finding the girl with a 42-year-old family friend at a motel, according to a written statement issued Tuesday by the Warsaw Police Department.

Christopher Allen Jr. of Warsaw has been charged with two counts of felony sexual misconduct with a minor, the statement said.

The age of consent in Indiana is 16.

Police said that Allen and the girl confirmed several sexual encounters at various hotels and other locations in and around Warsaw within the past month.

Allen was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail and was being held on a $10,000 surety bond.
