Two rural LaGrange County women were arrested Sunday after a raid on a home about 12 miles north of Kendallville.
LaGrange County deputies were assisted by the Indiana State Police and Indiana Conservation Officers in response to a report of possible drug at the house in the area of 3600 South 600 East, the sheriff's department said in a written statement issued Monday.
It said Candice Benson, 48, was charged with a felony count of maintaining a common nuisance and that Kerri Benson, 25, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
Two other people at the residence were charge with visiting a common nuisance, and The Journal Gazette does not routinely name those charged only with misdemeanors.
The sheriff's department said items commonly used to make meth and a "large quantity of a substance believed to be methamphetamine" were found in the home.
