Embassy Theatre Foundation: $50,000, the first of five payments for the Embassy Theatre capital campaign, “Vision of the Embassy”

Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation: $12,500 to support Lifetime Sports Academy, which provides free swimming, tennis and golf lessons during a summer-long program at McMillen Park

United Way of Allen County: $18,750, the first-quarter payment of the 2012 pledge of $75,000

Miss Virginia’s Mission House: $10,000 to complete several repair and replacement projects at this food pantry facility in Fort Wayne

Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer: $5,000 to assist the Foundation in its fundraising efforts to fight breast cancer

Carriage House: $5,000 for mental illness programming and support

Fort Wayne Trails: $5,000, the second of three payments to support the “Connecting Communities” project

Turnstone: $5,000 to assist the organization in providing quality care and therapy

Big Brothers Big Sisters: $3,000 to assist the organization to provide programming for young people

Ball State University: $3,000, for a journalism scholarship for a student from The Journal Gazette circulation area

Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne: $2,500, the first-quarter payment of the 2012 pledge of $10,000

Early Childhood Alliance: $2,500 to assist the organization in providing child-care services in Fort Wayne

Planned Parenthood of Indiana: $2,000 to provide education materials in Fort Wayne

Community Foundation of Fort Wayne: $2,000 in Funders Group operating funds

Shindigz National Soccer Festival: $2,000 to provide activities geared toward young people during the 2012 Soccer Festival

Fort Wayne Ballet: $1,000 to present performances during the year

Whitley County Arts Festival: $500 for the children’s tent that is a part of the Arts Festival in Columbia City
