The Mad Ants will hold an open tryout from 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Quest Multisport Complex in Chicago.
  • Howard not sure on return to Mad Ants this season
Howard has had some interest from NBA teams – that's nothing new, though Howard has never made a regular-season roster – and is again fielding offers from teams in Europe.

Two games left, playoffs to go

For the second time in three days, the Mad Ants won in a runaway.

Sunday, they defeated Texas 109-85. Friday, they beat Reno, 106-86.

The Ants (26-22) got a step closer to nailing down a playoff berth. They have two games remaining in the regular season, both on the road - against Sioux Falls on Friday, and Tulsa on Saturday.

Anthony Richardson and Chris Porter led the wire-to-wire win with 17 points each. Tony Mitchell had 16, Brandon Wallace, 15, and Anthony Harris, 13.
