Robin Roberts gives ‘thanks’ in Parade

After facing her fears about a life-threatening illness, Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts is back and better than ever.

“I don’t want to plan,” she says in Sunday’s Parade magazine, distributed with print editions of The Journal Gazette.

“In a year’s time, I want to still be able to say to you, I am in the moment,” she said, giving thanks for her blessings.

The story includes information on how to become a bone-marrow donor and help others like Roberts.

The Easter edition of Parade also features a column by Connie Schultz, who says there is no such thing as just one “right path” for working mothers. The author reflects on hers.

Parade also celebrates spring with a low-cal version of creamy asparagus soup, offering tips on trimming the spears and three more quick recipes.
