Butterfly exhibit to return in April

The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory’s annual live butterfly exhibit will return April 13, bringing with it the music of Africa.

The exhibit will feature butterfly specimens from the Old and New World and species from tropical Africa, including blue morpho and friendly owl butterflies as well as several swallowtail and brushfooted species.

The music of Africa will feature the sounds and rhythms of the drum, shekere and other native percussion instruments from different regions.

Regular Conservatory admission applies: $5 for adults, $3 for ages 3 to 17, and free for ages 2 and younger.
