Police arrest teenager suspected in torching teacher's car

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A teenager has been arrested on charges he and another person stole an Indianapolis teacher's car and set fire to it after robbing him at gunpoint.

The Indianapolis Star reported Tuesday that 23-year-old Anthony Delarosa was leaving his job at a public school on the city's northeast side when two suspects masked with bandannas ambushed him as he was walking to his car and robbed him of his wallet. He told police the pair told him to lie on the ground and then drove off in his car.

The 2012 Honda Civic was later found torched after the robbery Wednesday.

Police arrested a 15-year-old Saturday on charges related to the robbery. His name wasn't released because he is a juvenile.
