Yes, K's are out of it

I heard that some were not believing my math on the Komets being out of the playoff hunt.

They are.

Here is why.

The Komets are 10 points back of Toledo for the eighth playoff spot with five games remaining. The Komets could still pull even in points, yes.

However ... the first tiebreaker is wins (minus shootout wins) and the most the Komets could get is 33. Toledo already has 34.

And, just for kicks, the second tiebreaker is goal differential and the Komets trail by 63 to Toledo in that category.
