Two people were killed and one injured in a crash about 8 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 6 east of 300 W. in Noble County, according to the Noble County Sheriff’s Department.
William A. Crandall, 44, of Butler, was eastbound and lost control of his Ford Contour, which slid across the center line and was struck by an oncoming car, a Pontiac Grand Am driven by George Harmon, 65, of Ligonier, according to the sheriff’s department. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Grand Am, Laura Harmon, 65, sustained injuries to both legs and was flown to Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, according to the sheriff’s department. Her condition is not known.
